Microblading: Eyebrow Design

0

It is necessary to clearly differentiate the design for Microblading from that applied in makeup. In Microblading, it must be taken into account that the effects obtained both in terms of shape, color and intensity must harmonize throughout the duration of the treatment.

In other words, the chosen design must be appropriate for any time of day, in any personal and professional situation of the client. In addition, certain factors that will change after a few years, such as facial flaccidity and expression lines, must be taken into account.

To do this, you have to find the balance of the face by correcting asymmetries and defects. However, exaggerated changes will never be made and the primary objective will be to achieve the greatest naturalness with the design made.

In this article, we want to clarify doubts you have regarding the design, when you go to the center for the Microblading treatment since many of our clients have a question in common.

How do you design, do you use templates as a base?

The answer is no! Why? Because the shape of the face and the features are different in each case and we cannot design the same eyebrow pattern for all the same.

How do we know if an eyebrow is correctly designed?

Next, we explain which are the reference points that we must take into account, since they are the bases to obtain a good result in our design.

The eyebrow is divided into three parts with different thicknesses:

  • The base of the eyebrow or head of the eyebrow: it goes from the closest point of the inner area of the eye to the middle area. It is the widest part of the eyebrow.
  • Middle zone or natural arch: it is the highest point, it is located between the head and the tail and must coincide with the end of the iris or slightly outwards.
  • External part or tail of the eyebrow: it is close to the temple, it must coincide with the external part of the eye and fin of the nose and it is the thinnest part of the eyebrow.

Between these points, there are measures of head and base to the natural arch of 2/3 and between arch and tail 1/3.

Therefore, the design of a correct eyebrow would be one in which the head or birth of the eyebrow rests on the same axis as the tail, the end of the eyebrow. That is, the tail of the eyebrow must rest at the same height as the beginning of the eyebrow or be slightly upward. But never below the beginning or head of the eyebrow, because it would give an appearance of sadness. In this way, we achieve a natural and harmonious eyebrow.
