Microblading Changed My Life at Delaware SMP

0

You have likely heard about eye microblading. It is a process of disguising over-plucked and tiny eyebrows with the use of ultra-thin hair-like tattoos.

But what if I tell you that scalp microblading can also turn out to be a game-changing solution if you are dealing with hair loss? Similar to the eyebrows, the same procedure is used to give a delusional look of a lush head of hair.

What is Scalp Microblading?

In order to embed pigments, scalp microblading works similarly to eyebrow microblading by scratching the skin's surface, which is quite similar to obtaining a tattoo. However, microblading typically doesn't last as long as a regular tattoo because it is fragile and only penetrates the top layers of skin.

How long does scalp microblading last?

Results can take anywhere from six to 18 months, depending on lifestyle, skin type, and pigment hue. If you've recently seen the term "permanent cosmetics" bandied about, microblading is included in this category even though it isn't truly permanent.

Who Is The Best Suited For Hairline Microblading?

Clients with some existing hair had the best outcomes for hairline microblading, according to Delaware SMP. "The microblade strokes lengthen the natural hairline or give thinning hair the appearance of depth. The hair strokes produced by microblading blend in flawlessly with the correct color matching, giving the impression of thick, luxuriant hair.

If a customer like me has significant bald spots, microblading outcomes are less successful since the effect is less three-dimensional in those regions."

So you might be a good candidate for microblading if you have slight thinning or wish to smooth out your hairline so you can proudly wear a ponytail.

What's The Whole Process Like? Does It Hurt?

Before starting the procedure, a professional at Delaware SMP will apply a numbing agent to your scalp. That said, there could be some discomfort that you might face. However, it depends on how much pain you can tolerate for a certain period.

But I must say, that pain is worth tolerating!

Things You Should Be Aware Of Before and After the Microblading

Once you have done the research of finding a professional and reliable artist such as Delaware SMP, you will probably have an initial consultation.

Talking about my experience regarding initial consultation, an expert at Delaware SMP prepared me and explained impressively the things I have to take care of before the treatment.

Some basic guidelines are:

  • You have to wash your head before each treatment. You don't have to wash your head for four days after each scalp microblading treatment. Every treatment will take between 4 to 5 hours. The number of treatments will depend on the amount of your head scalp getting SMP. Kelsey at Delaware SMP says it would take at least three to four treatments, even if it is only for a small area, as SMP is a process of layering color.

After the treatment, make sure:

  • To avoid swimming, steam rooms, and saunas for the first 28 days. Avoid direct sunlight for 28-30 days. You can also use SPF 30-50 sunscreen as I do. Try to perform heavy exercises five to six days after your final treatment. Experts at Delaware SMP also suggest that you can begin moisturizing the treated area after the fourth day of the final treatment.
